Spend time in prayer!

Spend time in prayer, Spend time in prayer, Said they, the Saints of old.

Oh How I wish, I could draw back the curtain, To step in to their prayer rooms.

For, Prayer to me, Sounds like a boring chore, Thrust down my throat like a cure, For every crisis that comes my way.

So I ask thee, Holy Spirit, My promised Helper from Christ, What is this Prayer?, That the Saints hold in such high regard.

Lean in, He says, And let me whisper in your ear, For the secrets of the Kingdom are not for everyone to hear. To him that asks, it will be given, The one who seeks, shall surely find, And to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Only to those and no one else.

Seek ye first the Kingdom, Sit unhurried in the throne room of the Lord, Tarry until He comes down from Heaven to rescue you, Stand on His word and claim your promises.

For when you pray, Child, Mysteries become clear. And you will know, Who He is, The one who breathed life into your spirit.

After the crowds dispersed, Jesus went up into the hills to pray. And as night fell he was there praying alone with God. Matthew 14:23 TPT https://bible.com/bible/1849/mat.14.23.TPT
