If Christ had not risen...

If Christ had not risen,

I'd have no hope of entering heaven.

If Christ had not risen,

I'd been carrying a baggage of sin and shame.

If Christ had not risen,

I'd have guilt following me around all day.

If Christ had not risen,

I'd have never known what it means to be forgiven.

If Christ had not risen,

I'd have never known the unconditional love of the Father.

If Christ had not risen,

I'd have never known the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

Thank You, Lord Jesus.

For enduring the cross,

The agony of death,

And the seperation from your Holy Father,

For my sake,

So, that I'd have hope of eternal life.

This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives. This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God—who does not lie—promised them before the world began.
