Do people matter!?

Do people matter!?

Are they utterly necessary!?

Did Jesus have people!?

Well, He had 12 who called him “Rabbi”,

3 of whom he called “close disciples”

1 of whom called himself the “Beloved disciple of the Lord”.

When He broke bread and fed 4000,

They were there,

All of them, Not one went missing.

When He walked on water,

They were there,

Peter even stepped out of the boat in Faith ( It takes exceeding faith for a fisherman to step out of the boat and believe that he can walk on water).

When He rose Lazarus from the dead,

They were there,

Awestruck and amazed.

When He washed their feet,

They still stayed.

When he prayed for them as the High Priest of the order of Melchizedek,

They didn’t object.

But, When He was anguished in the Garden of Gethsemane,

They slept.

Even the “Beloved disciple of the Lord”.(For they did not know that the hour was upon them) When he walked down the streets of Jerusalem – Half clad and Heavily bruised,

They were nowhere to be seen.

When He was groaning in agony – on the cross of Calvary,

Only the beloved of the Lord was there. Do people matter!?

In a world filled with I, Me and Myself,

We can only hope that good deeds do return. Do not tire of doing good, for in the right time, your Father in Heaven will give you your reward.

But remember,

Only one Man said – “I will be with you to the very end of the age.”

Yes, the one who hung on the cross for you.

He knows what it feels like – to be deserted.

So when you got no one on this earth,

Lift your eyes heavenward,

For that is your Homeland.

And they are your people.

Do People Matter!?

Yes. Yes, they very much do.

They mattered to the one who gave it all on the Cross of Calvary and so they matter to me too.

Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

If Christ had not risen...

If Christ had not risen, I'd have no hope of entering heaven. If Christ had not risen, I'd been carrying a baggage of sin and shame. If Christ had not risen, I'd have guilt following me around all day

Ain’t no friend like Jesus!

If there’s anything that life’s struggles teach us, It’s that people change. People we counted on, People we believed in, With all our hearts and hopes. But, in the darkest background of life’s pain,

Walk Away

“Don’t walk away”, He warns me. “From the people I have placed in your life.” “But I only end up hurting them, Father. Everytime I be myself”, I say sadly. “For I am too much at times, And not enough
